Description
This bridge crosses the Black River in downtown Springfield directly above the Middle Falls of the Black River Falls complex. The Black River Falls comprises of three separate dams and waterfalls, with the Upper Falls also including a series of naturally-occurring rapids in addition to an engineered drop. The Middle Falls is part man made, part naturally occurring. The Lower Falls is entirely a man made dam structure.
