Description
Railroad bridge on the original PKHP Railroad (Pickens Railway Company-Honea Path Division), now owned by Norfolk Southern. Bridge originally spanned Whitner Creek. Creek bed was straightened and moved to culvert to the northwest at some point, the stream bed filled in & the bridge was then used as an underpass for an unnamed street to connect Tribble Street & Glenn Street. Once the Anderson Mill was closed and for the most part, demplished, the underpass was closed to traffic.
