Dana and Kay,this abandoned bridge is part of the Kensington and Tacony Railroad which was eventually from the looks of it abandoned.That bridge at the northern end of the rail line where the K & T trail begins does look like a swing bridge on satellite view.There is historical information on this railroad but I couldn't find no maps.

George might be an old Kensington Taconey RR bridge. Phili full of old lines and spurs so need foamer confirmation, Follow this old line North East another one similar to this might be old swing bridge. Not Sure
