Just read in todays local paper that this 3-arch span was built a few years before the Peacock Viaduct was finished by a designer named Gustavus Anthony Nicolls. This bridge also goes by the names of Herbine Bridge, named after a nearby farm family,Leonard Arch and Little Peacock Bridge.Interesting information.

Dana and Kay,i am not familiar with this bridge but i have been on Cross Keys Rd and see from the gate the railroad has up that this was originally a 2 track rail route. Also i know that this rail route had a name before it became the RBMN.
