Beaver Falls-New Brighton Bridge (Old)
Posted April 2, 2021, by NE2 (neroute2 [at] gmail [dot] com)

This bridge, connecting Bridge Street in Beaver Falls to Third Avenue in New Brighton, was abandoned in about 1926 when the Pennsylvania Railroad built a new alignment along the river through New Brighton (bypassing the tracks on Fifth Avenue). Motor vehicle traffic was moved to the former railroad bridge on the site of the current PA 18 bridge.
