It isn't, but this was the '70's....they were even less inclined toward truss bridge preservation than they are now.

That was a good move to eliminate hairpins, but I feel like this bridge could have been saved with no repercussions as I don't think the Auglaize is commercially navigable at this point

Yep, that's definitely the old alignment of 634. It was replaced by a haunched, skewed steel plate girder bridge in '71, eliminating the hairpin curves at the crossing.
