Oatmeal Bridge

Melissa,

Barring the possibility of erroneous dates, I suspect that this "Oatmeal" Bridge was built in between the two Bridge Street Bridges in the database, standing from 1910 until 1913....likely the three span Camelback/Pratt combination was built in 1913 or 1914 then.

Thanks, Melissa!

Likely that means the location was near that of this bridge: https://bridgehunter.com/oh/miami/bridge-street/

It was also known as Bridge Street Bridge

More information to come but there was an Oatmeal company in Piqua. I'm guessing the employees used the bridge to get to and from work.

Anybody got any ideas about this one? Location, history, etc. is a mystery. The name is certainly intriguing though....
