Maumee River Bridge

In support of Gary's comments, I found the attached article online telling the details (and including small photo) of the former arch bridge. It also has a photo showing former truss bridges at this location as well.

The new bridge is very large/long and provides a superelevated roadway of four lanes plus shoulders total. Translation, the design speed is probably 50-70 mph. Its a bridge where its hard to go the speed limit... which is posted at 35mph. So most of the design, money, etc that went into this enormous bridge went into a design with a safe/feasible usage speed that local law enforcement won't allow you to do.

This description appears to be the arch bridge located at Maumee, Ohio. It has been replaced a few years ago with a concrete structure simular to the one in Napoleon, Ohio. The new bridge is a wider and is designed in what is called a "replica bridge". Modern construction with design elements taking cues from the past. I will send pics of the replacement bridge in the near future.
