Now, if they would only complete the look by installing replicas of the long-lost ornate portal cresting, tower cresting, and decorative tower finials...

The bridge is now open again. I took a couple of pics the other day, and attached them. However, I see that you've already taken some shots of the new paint job. They even added blue neon lights to the top chords of the trusses along with the lights on the main cables- it looks great at night.

Here are some shots of the Market Street Bridge from 8 August 2011. The bridge is closed to traffic and is being worked on. It is now a blue and yellow color as you can see. Hopefully this means it will be around for a while longer.
