Historic Bridge Inventory SFN: 06XXXX1 Old SFN Number: 5433509 Relocated in 2007 from Hasis Rd over Blierdorfer Ditch in Mercer Co

From Historic Bridge Inventory:

Bridge will reportedly be re-erected on a recreational trail in the county. It was originally carried Hasis Road (TR 115) over Conformer Blierdofer Ditch in Center Twp, Mercer County. The skewed, 1 span, 67'-long, rivet-connected Warren with verticals pony truss bridge has verticals. It is traditionally composed of built-up members. It had a jack arch deck, which was removed when relocated in 2007. Relocated in 2007 from Hasis Rd over Blierdorfer Ditch in Mercer Co (former SFN 5433509). The traditionally composed riveted Warren with verticals pony truss bridge was originally placed in 1911 in Mercer County. It was relocated off-system to New Bremen, Auglaize County in 2007 as part of a federal-aid project. It is a good, and fairly early, example of its type/design that will be used on an off-system recreational trail. It is a representative example of what by 1911 was a well established, standardized design of its type and design. There are over 20 pre-1911 examples remaining in the state. This example is complete, but it is not historically or technologically significant. It was recommended as not eligible in the first inventory, and in comparison with the statewide population, that finding is appropriate.
