I'm pretty sure this is the 135 year-old bridge you are looking for. There are postcards out there from 1910 showing this bridge, but the railroad did not pass below it then.
Youtube has a video of some kids jumping some 62 feet from the bridge to the water below.

Conneaut seems to be a fascinating area that I'll have to visit one day.
