Description
"The iron span was constructed in 1902 by the Owego Bridge Company, rated for a load of four tons. By 1971 it was closed due to concerns over the
deteriorating condition of both the bridge and a 210 ft. smoke stack nearby, which had tilted a foot out of plumb. The chimney was razed in 1973 and a new bridge completed early in 1974."
