Your error, Doug, (And it's a really common error a lot of people make, so please don't take it personal!) is thinking that the postmark location (Alexandria Bay) is the town the postcard portrays.
Postmark just tells you which town marked/cancelled the stamps/mailed the thing.
I agree though. Mark it as a mystery and it'll get solved eventually.
