OW - Kerr's Creek Arch
Description
154' long stone culvert that once carried Kerr's Creek under the NYO&W north of Walton, NY. The railroad was abandoned in 1957. Out of concern for a flood risk, the town removed the overhead embankment and rerouted the creek around the arch in 2007, leaving the arch's top exposed for the first time since its construction.
