For what it is worth I agree with Tony.

On August 13, I posted a message to just the forum about my idea of how to change the site to accommodate moved spans.

I don't want to repost the whole thing, so in summary, I suggest:

The field "Status:" - Either add to the category "No longer exists" or create a new category called "Moved".

Add a field "Year Erected here:" - Fill this in only when different than the "Year Built:".

The field "Year lost:" - add the text "or moved" to the explanation so it reads "enter the exact year, if known, when it was replaced, destroyed, or moved".

The "Relationship" list on the "Related Bridge" page - add "Entire structure relocated to", "Entire structure relocated from", "Portion of structure relocated to", and "Portion of structure relocated from.

Those changes James will have to make. As a simple contributor, I created the categories "Original location" and "Second location, entire structure"

Personally I feel like the historic name given to a bridge ought to go with it if the span is relocated and I think this should still be known as the Masterson Bridge. I think it's important to keep ties with the bridge's heritage and those people who have fond memories of it at it's original location.

I have also suggested to James about adding "Relocated" to the status field so that bridges that are moved won't show as being lost on their original page. They may be lost from their original location but certainly not gone altogether. Big difference.

My two cents...curious what the gallery thinks...
