And Louisiana uses concrete embankments with the stream name on them!

Louisiana used this design but you don't see many left with the original railing. I listed one several months ago:


Recently repainted with the date markers painted, as well. There's another bridge of the same design further north which I didn't list (since its the same design and age)

I'm curious about this bridge design(steel stringer with high side rails). Missouri used this design from the mid 30's to the mid 50's, but I don't recall seeing it anyplace besides Missori. Does anyone know if it's been used elsewhere or if this was an exclusive Missouri design?
