Yes, this bridge is still at its location as of 5/16/17.
Is this bridge still at it's location or has it been dropped and a new one built in its place? I remember 93' when this bridge was near fully submerged. It was a weird sight to barely be able to see the bridge because of such high flood water, and it was submerged for several months.
The bridge reopened on Sunday, April 13, 2008, after being closed for painting. The bridge was closed for approximately one week while the bridge painting work was performed.
This bridge was near fully submerged the during great flood of 93.
Thanks - confirmed. I drove down there last week! Grandma is still there...
The name of the cemetery to the south of the bridge is the Herculaneum Cemetery established in 1915.
There is cemetery just on the south side of the bridge, on the left (I believe) towards the Mississippi. Any idea what the name of it is? I thought it would be the Joachim Cemetery - but apparently not.

Replacement project is scheduled to start in 2022. A new bridge will be constructed parallel to the west, and slightly higher. This one will be demolished afterward. http://www.modot.org/route-6167-over-joachim-creek-bridge-pr...
