This bridge is not getting rebuilt as of Oct. 11, 2011. I have contacted KCMO and there is no money for funding it.

James and all: I have driven over this bridge on a weekly basis since 1988. It was NOT rehabilitated in 1996, it was a Pratt Through truss with a wodden floor, and was removed in 1996, and that is when the Bailey Truss was relocated there. In 2008, an overweight truck went partially through it, and the road has been closed ever since.
????? Completion date???
The bridge is currently being torn down and rebuilt.

This bridge was filmed during a movie shoot about 1 1/2 years ago. Does anyone know the film name?

The bridge is being dismantled, moved and reused as a pedestrian Bridge, along the Presidential Trail, In Jackson County. The new two land bridge should be completed in 2017.
