Originally a 2-span Whipple through truss that was relocated from part of a larger bridge at Mankato. One span at this location collapsed after an accident and was replaced with a Bailey truss.

Built 1879 at North Mankato; Relocated here 1918; Partial collapse in 1972; Bailey Bridge added at that time

Here's an article with some of the bridge history and pics in it, but also a lot of history of a local restaurant that was located at the west end of the bridge.


Also the location on the map is incorrect, the white bridge was farther north on CR 118.
