West Portage Avenue Bridge

I stand corrected. Thank you.

My usual route to the MCM Shipyard (just east of the Edison Powerplant) took me over the one I have documented. I wish at the time I had the foresight (and time) to take better pictures of it. I see now that mine should be titled the EAST Portage Avenue bridge. This shall be updated.

To follow up, I looked it up, and this one is mapped to the correct location. Its the other page that should be mapped to the crossing by the International Bridge.

Robert,

No, there are two identical 1970 steel thru arch bridges on West Portage Avenue (some or all of which is also signed as I-75 Business Spur) and both cross Power Canal. I don't know which listing is which on this website because the map points to the same location, but one of the two should point at the other arch which crosses Power Canal next to the International Bridge.

This is the same bridge that is listed twice as "Power Canal Bridge"
