MCRT - Lower Hardwick Bridge
Description
Former Central Massachusetts Railroad. This section (Gilbertville-New Braintree) was retained as the Wheelwright Branch until around 1980. It is now owned by the East Quabbin Land Trust and is open for use as part of the future cross-state Mass Central Rail Trail.

The bridge is open to pedestrians, wheelchairs, bikes, and in winter to snowmobiles via the Ware River Snowmobile Club.
