CSX - Union Street Overpass
Description
Plate girder bridge carrying the CSX Berkshire Subdivision over Union Street. Powder Mill Brook is also crossed, located in a culvert underneath the road. The superstructure and concrete abutment modifications were likely built during extensive line upgrades in 1911-12, with the stone abutments dating to an earlier structure.
