Description

Although the plaque style is a little different, this span has several earmarks of a Champion Bridge Company product. The single inclined panels next to the endposts were especially common with their Camelback design.

Just received some good news from Richard Hines that the town of Edmonton has agreed to move this bridge to a city park.

Supposedly the bridge is going to be replaced in the near future.

I'm sorry, my comment should have read "late summer, 2009". August, I think, but not certain. It was finished when I drove the bridge September 3rd.

This bridge has just been rehabilitated to some degree. The new deck (still wood, but new) was finished in late 2009.
