It appears that that this bridge may not be around much longer. A proposal to replace this bridge is in the May, 2019 lettings.

Cool bedstead - love the hearty look - and stout, reinforced abutments. Could go another 200 years.

I just moved the pin to the possible bridge location. According to the NBI, this bridge is possibly eligible for the NRHP. See KSHS PDF in the links section for more information and a photograph.

This bridge is mislocated and I am having trouble locating it based on the KHRI description. That being said, it appears to be a Warren Bedstead built by the Missouri Valley Bridge & Iron Co. I have got to get back to Kansas to check these bridges out...
