This is the next to last bridge constructed by the Kennedy family. It does not feature the trademark scrolls and brackets found on earlier Kennedy spans. They were Victorian styling that was considered to be out of vogue by the early 20th century.

Photo #8 is not a picture of the Norris Ford Bridge, it is the Smith Covered Bridge located just over a mile downstream. The Norris Ford Bridge never had scrolls and brackets like it's 19th century counterparts, as these things were considered to be out of vogue by 1916.
