Built 1914; Replaced 1989. Beautiful bridge that had survived many floods during it's lifetime. Road goes South into North gate of old Grissom Air Force Base, now reserve.

My predecessor Earl Snyder saved this plaque when he maintained Miami county signs for the highway department,he retired in 2002 three years after I started working with him. I was told the history and guarded it for the next nine years until I moved on but thankfully I told the next guy and so on until today ! Now I hope to get it displayed at the Miami county museum along with three other plaques Earl saved !
