The bridge originally crossed the Little Flatrock River on what is now State Road 3 South of the town of Milroy in Rush County, Indiana. It was at that location for 55 years... It has been at the Lake County Fairgrounds for 88.

In trying to GPS this bridge using Google Maps while in Indiana, the only productive search was using “Crown Point Covered Bridge” in the search bar. It’s known locally by that name as well as “Milroy Covered Bridge”

We’ve been historic covered bridge hunters since 2013. Your website is my “go to” for info when planning our trips. Thanks for all the work you do!

Great shot. You should post this to the Shelhorn Bridge page instead of just here in the comments.

This bridge is actually inside the Lake county fairgrounds.
