Some good news for this bridge, despite being "Non Select" this bridge is currently moving toward a Rehabilitation outcome as part of the ongoing Section 106 Review. The preservation of this bridge is essential as Carroll County has one of the most diverse collections of preserved metal truss bridges in Indiana, however this is the only surviving example of Indiana's spectacular arched portal state standard truss design in the county.
