Photos and info can be found at Ray Tutaj site--Guitar Journey; Lewis University photo collection site; pamphlet/book @ La Salle, IL library--"La Salle, An Historical Sketch; P.E. Vierling book "Hiking the Illinois& Michigan Canal and Exploring its Environs; La Salle County Historical Society Museum, Utica, IL; Illinois Valley Genealogical site on Facebook also has photos.

Concrete bridge foundations on north side of canal are still visible from towpath. There are foundations on the south side of the canal, directly east of Split Rock that supported the track.

Any information sent to my email would be great. Very interested in the area around Split Rock since my relatives lived in the Utica farming area and I grew up in Ottawa.

Thanks in advance.
