Grand Tower Pipeline Bridge
Posted July 14, 2015, by Carl (cbgbrb [at] gmail [dot] com)

My father worked in construction in the 50's. One of my earliest memories is him taking us to see this bridge shortly after it was finished. I was so young at the time I did not know what I was looking at. 20 years later on a visit to see tower rock the memories of that trip came flooding back as soon as I saw the bridge. I talked to dad about it later and he told me his job had been to monitor gauges for the sandhogs. He never explained why they needed sandhogs on that job. He passed on in 1997 and I can no longer ask.
