Doug,
It would be very helpful when asking questions if you could paste the link so I can quickly find what you are looking at. Also, when posting pages a reference to the source material you used to make your drawing would be very helpful. I am not sure where on my website you are looking. And not knowing what source material you used, I had to check myself, and the only Crawford Avenue Bascule Bridge I know of was over the Sanitary and Ship Canal, presumably located near what is today Pulaski Road. It is depicted here: https://books.google.com/books?id=tRYZAAAAYAAJ&newbks=1&newb... If I have that bridge listed as a Cal-Sag Bridge somewhere on my website, that would be an error on my part.

On your Historic Bridges page that has a Strauss Bascule bridge on the bottom on the upper left where it mentions the cost of some 300,000 or so, is this bridge the right location, it says the Cal Sag and it suppose to be across the Drainage or Sanitary Canal because I haven't get no response yesterday I just want some verification.
I'm trying to figure out if this former bascule bridge is the right location and that is not the Sanitary Ship or Drainage Canal but Cal Sag crossing!
Nathan
that's the bridge I'm talking about of the link you presented.
