Does anyone know where the 1883 construction date came from for these three stone arch bridges in the city? The Nomination Form seems confident in the 1895 date it lists as contractor Alexander Briggs was requesting payment in that year. As such I feel confident in the 1895 date but I wondered where an odd date like 1883 came from on this website when the bridges aren't even on the NBI?
