According to my findings, the location that NBI had was in southern Minnesota in Mower County. Fayette County is located well into Iowa; specifically south of Decorah and east of New Hampton. Whoever tried to pinpoint the location of a Fayette County bridge by placing it in Minnesota doesn't really know much about geography, which if true, I would find it really sad. If one wants to know more about bridges, then they should really try and make an effort to find it on a map, like I usually do.
One note (Ben): The reason I pinpointed it to C14 was the fact that the bridge and the farm place where the half-naked bum ran down after me were both located near a curve going to the right. I was unable to pinpoint which street the bridge was on for as I got to the main road (Hwy. 150) close to Fayette, there were some street signs missing. I can at least try and refind the location of the bridge via GPS, but the problem is the structure spans a small creek which is difficult to find on the NBI listings.
Looking back at the NBI listing as if to import again, one finds a location in southern Minnesota, so certainly something to look at. We know it's there, the question is, where?
The coordinates are off by quite a bit. The street view doesn't show the culvert anywhere near this spot. Also, your photos show a gravel road whereas the streetview shows a paved road. I was looking because I was curious as to how far Bubba had to run half-naked to get from his house to the road to yell at you about stepping 5 feet onto his lawn as expressed in picture#2.
No big deal, Jason. I was just curious.
