History
Built 1902 as double track bridge; third track and third truss line added in 1910. Bridge replaced with through girder span June 2022.

the way they brag about it is pretty disgusting. this was a beautiful bridge that could have easily been converted to supported vehicular traffic or even pedestrians in another part of the state. one reason i love Texas passion to conserve historic bridges better than other states
