Replaced an earlier bridge at this location built in 1872.

Bridge consists of five double-intersection Warrens with sub-struts. The center truss is the swing span, and has an inclined top chord. A sixth span, a deck plate girder, spans the southbound lanes of CT Route 9.
Length of largest span: 210.0 ft.
Total length: 1,180.2 ft.

If this is the bridge I think it is, just downstream from the Arrigoni Bridge, it's NOT open to traffic. On Wikipedia, it's known as http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Providence_%26_Worcester_railro...
