St. Joseph River

View Exhibit mapThis river begins in Hillsdale County, Michigan, and flows southwest through Williams County, Ohio and DeKalb and Allen counties, Indiana, before emptying into the Maumee River at Fort Wayne. Confusingly, its headwaters arise only a few miles from the source of the St. Joseph River that flows into Lake Michigan via Michigan and Indiana.
