Description
Old bridge originally constructed for the Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific Railroad circa 1898-1908. Unfortunately, no builder's plaque was found. Bridge currently in poor condition and in bad need of repair. Sits on cement piers and abutments, unlike other bridges on this line that were constructed with native rock piers & abutments. This puts in question that this bridge may not be an original at this location.
