Description
Lost Deck Truss bridge built in 1957. This bridge was demolished in 1987 after completion of a new 4-lane cut and fill bypass. Named after Medal of Honor award winner, Stanley Bender, a much smaller and unimposing bridge on the West Virginia Turnpike in Fayette County was renamed in his honor.
