On further review...

The NBI listed this bridge as over the East Fork of the Black River in the Town of Hiles. The NBI inventory number is B71014200000000. This data are all correct. Somewhere, the data were lost in transmission or translation.

There are two Town(s) of Hiles in Wisconsin - one in Forest County and one in Wood County. Someone had a 50-50 chance to make the right guess but guessed the wrong one. The Peterson Road Bridge was in Town of Hiles, Wood County, not Town of Hiles, Forest County.

The bridge was replaced in 2005, anyway.

James, you are correct. The 1992 NBI Data for Forest County is completely wrong. (For exmple, the Elroy-Sparta trail is in Monroe County and bridges listed for I-90 and I-94 cannot possibly be in Forst County.)
