Design

5 span, 595 foot deck arch truss. A distinctive feature was a square cut-out in the span over the river. This was probably to accommodate the Federal requirement to allow vessel navigation on this waterway.

To the best of my knowledge, this bridge was removed when a new Hwy 45 bypass was built and Wis 54 was relocated. I will gladly stand corrected if anyone knows for sure.
