The deck and east girder

The winter has not been kind to the deck - it is in serious need of surface repair. The arch in the background welcomes State Street traffic to Miller Valley. (See below.)

The north portal

This bridge serves an industrialized area, just south of the Menomonee River and just west of Miller Valley. The only entrance and exit to the area is this bridge.

The Miller Valley Arch

The arch marks the western boundary of "Miller Valley," the location of Miller Brewing Company. It is just to the northeast of the 45th Street Bridge. Just barely in view on the left side of the photo is the top of the Highland Blvd. Bridge.
