Bascule Drive Gears There is no identification on these gears on display next to the bridge, but I suspect they came from the original bridge that this one replaced.

The Hole In The Road When this bridge was built, the grade was raised considerably. This excavation reveals a manhole and the old surface of Emmber Lane, from when it was known as 13th Street, upper left and to the right of the manhole.
