Description

This beautiful single-span Quadrangular Warren through truss bridge crosses Wilson Creek and once carried the same railroad that crosses the Red Cedar on an identically configured (but a 2-span) bridge just to the southwest of this one. The bridge is abandoned but appears to be in good condition. This and the 2-span bridge would make the perfect pair of trail bridges to bring history to life in Menomonie, and also to add some tourist dollars!
