This was built to provide access to public land otherwise inaccessible, while retaining the functionality of the navigation lock and canal.

Overview: Deck plate girder bridge over US Government Navigation Canal / Turbine outflow canal
Location: Brown County, Wisconsin
Status: Under construction
History: New construction, connecting an island separated by the navigation canal to a County Park Trail
Design: The Bascule span (apparently identical in design to the Miron Bridge in Menasha WI) spans the Navigation Canal; the Steel Pony Arch spans the outflow channel from a small generating station. The dry land approaches on the island are steel beam spans.
