Check that! This one was built in 1954 as part of the US 99 expressway constructed through this area. The 1927 twin to this was the original US 99 routing two lane.

Originally designed for Northbound and Southbound traffic on US 99. Prior to this, US 99 was routed to the east to avoid the water crossings. This alignment lines up with a northerly swing span leading into Marysville, which is now replaced and scheduled for demolition.
