Description

Built in conjunction with the Municipal Market Building as a way to keep the Pike Place Market from being moved uptown, which is what Seattle's traffic engineers wanted. It connected the building and the Market's North Arcade. It was damaged in the 1974 fire that destroyed the Municipal Market Building, and redeveloped in 2017 as part of the MarketFront Expansion Project.
