I moved the locator pin for this bridge from Westminster Street to Main Street. The series of bridges on Westminster Street are well-documented without including this bridge, while a lenticular through-truss did exist on Main Street, according to the NHRP Nomination Form for the Saxton's River Historic District. The original crossing to the east was a covered bridge on Factory Street (now Maple Street) The Bellows Falls and Saxtons River Street Railway Co. replaced the covered bridge with an open deck girder bridge for its track, while Main Street was extended and the new road bridge was erected at that point.
