Description

Suspension bridge of ~270' mainspan built specifically for snowmobiles.

Signs on towers read “Green Mt. Roamers Gateway”, “1994”, & “337 ft.”

The "337 ft." refers to the overall length of the project - from anchorage to anchorage.

Vermont Snowmobile Trails Map (2003 edition) labels this bridge as "270' Susp. Bridge" & “(Longest In N. America)”

There are several snowmobile suspension bridges longer in North America including one with a mainspan of 360 feet - longer than the entire 337 feet project length of this bridge.
