Description
Bridge burned on the last week of January 1961 by vandals. This resulted in the deaths of three girls who went over the burned bridge in a car and into the creek after smudge pots and "bridge out" signs were removed as a "prank" on February 4, 1961. Three other girls in the car were injured. The burned bridge was removed and filled in with asphalt. It was then bypassed in the early 1990's. The road leading to it is now abandoned.

"The bridge where the fatal accident involving Arlington High School students in 1961 was burned and was never replaced and is now a calvert off of what is now Greenbelt."
That would be this bridge.
