Belknap Creek Bridge
Posted December 14, 2014, by Tag Sherman

This bridge may have been a murder scene. Heather Rich was shot to death in October 1996 on a bridge and her body dumped into Belknap Creek by her killers. This would be the first bridge on this county road that crossed Belknap Creek east of Highway 81. Three men were convicted of killing her and are currently serving life sentences in Texas prisons.
